Role Description

On-site role based in San Francisco. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in all kitchen operations. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking meals, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, and assisting in menu planning. The Sous Chef will also oversee inventory management, order supplies, and ensure that all dishes meet quality and presentation standards.

Wages: $40-50/hour, expected 6-8 hrs/day, 5 days a week Mon‑Fri.

Qualifications

Strong culinary skills in meal preparation, cooking, and presentation

Familiar with Asian cuisine

Experience in kitchen operations

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role is preferred
