Job Summary

Where You'll Make a Difference
Lead the
site EHS function , including team leadership, hiring, performance management, and capability building.
Champion an interdependent safety culture
through visible felt leadership, coaching, and consistent standards.
Ensure
full compliance
with corporate policies and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, environmental).
Oversee
risk assessments, safety reviews, audits, and training programs
to proactively mitigate hazards.
Manage
regulatory and corporate reporting , permits, metrics, and corrective actions with rigor and transparency.
Drive
waste management and sustainability
programs (e.g., "zero to landfill") through a cross‑functional Green Team.
Maintain and advance
ISO 14001
certification in partnership with site and corporate leadership.
Implement
contractor management
policies and ensure third‑party compliance end‑to‑end.
Align EHS goals with the site operating model;
lead problem‑solving
and incident learning to improve performance.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Bachelor's degree
in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field; or equivalent progressive experience.
10+ years
EHS experience in
food/pharma/chemical
manufacturing;
6+ years
of successful people leadership.
Expertise in
safe behaviors and machine safety ; strong working knowledge of
OSHA
requirements and corporate standards.
Proven ability to
design and deliver EHS training
that engages diverse audiences.
Demonstrated success in
implementing and sustaining
sitewide EHS programs and management systems.
Skilled at
influencing and conflict resolution
across functions and levels; strong stakeholder management.
Excellent
problem‑solving, organization, and communication
(written and verbal).
Digital fluency
with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel).
Work authorization:
Ability to work legally in the
United States .
