Job Description Reporting to the Director, Sales & Marketing, this role focuses on developing, implementing, and maximizing revenue strategies across all hotel-related revenue streams. The position manages sales budgets, participates in trade shows, negotiates new partnerships, and leads digital and marketing initiatives.

Assist in the preparation of the Annual Sales & Marketing Plan and Room Revenue Budgets.

Develop, implement, and monitor business strategies to exceed forecasted revenue figures.

Manage Sales & Marketing expenses in line with the departmental budget.

Participate in trade shows and promotional events to develop new markets.

Structure, negotiate, and close new businesses and partnerships in all segments:

Tour, Travel & Deluxe Agencies

Meetings & Groups

Local Global Corporate

Review and monitor company accounts for room night production based on account and individual sales managers' productivity to ensure sales objectives are achieved.

Conduct Sales meetings with the S&M team and lead monthly strategic meetings, including forecast management.

Adhere to the brand's overall vision and hotel policies and procedures.

Develop an organized, motivated, and cohesive Sales & Marketing team through strong leadership.

Drive the Sales effectiveness of the hotel and Sales & Marketing Team.

Monitors weekly sales activities to ensure individual sales calls objectives are achieved.

Provide ongoing direction and implement training programs for the team with a 360 approach.

Lead the Digital, Marketing, and Communication strategies of the hotel.

Implement online and offline media plans to increase awareness of the hotel (social media, advertising, editorial, and press release requirements).

Liaise and directly monitor the Public Relations strategy with regard to the hotel's local and global position.

Work in harmony and synergy with all Senior Executives in the hotel and Corporate Headquarters team.

Qualifications

Expert understanding and well-developed skills in sales, partnerships, and business development, including identifying leads, building relationships, storytelling, negotiating, closing, and account management.

Proven track record of building new business relationships and signing significant deals.

Comfortable and capable with both developing strategies and rolling up sleeves to execute on the team.

Creative, flexible, and solution-oriented.

Results driven with an ability to execute independently.

A natural leader who inspires and motivates those around them.

Comfortable presenting to Senior Leadership with strong interpersonal communication skills.

Experience with luxury or global brand is an advantage.

Analytical, pro-active, and innovative mind.

Detail-oriented and highly reliable in thorough execution and follow-through.

High integrity and ability to keep confidentiality.

Previous Sales leadership experience required.

Must have experience working for luxury hotel brands.

Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) software and other automated systems, and PCs.
