Senior Manager - Risk Modeling and Analytics
Join the BMO U.S. team as a Senior Manager – Risk Modeling and Analytics. The role involves applying mathematical and statistical methods to financial and risk management problems, including internal controls, enterprise-wide stress testing, scenario analysis, capital modeling, and valuations.
Through quantitative analytical modeling, you will identify crucial factors for financial disaster and recovery plans, conduct research, develop tools using data to create scenario-based planning, and implement complex mathematical models to help the business make better financial and risk-related decisions.
Responsibilities
Develop pricing and quantitative risk models for an assigned portfolio (e.g., fixed income, corporate credit, and loans).
Monitor risk in strategies and portfolios alongside project managers or functional leads.
Conduct research and develop tools that use data to improve financial decision‑making.
Apply knowledge of risk assessment and controls along with industry compliance standards and regulations.
Identify and recommend ways to mitigate potential risks based on analysis of issues and business implications.
Document data flow, systems and processes to improve design, implementation, and management of business/group processes.
Conduct quantitative risk research across strategies and portfolios.
Foster a culture aligned to BMO purpose, values, and strategy, role‑modeling BMO values and behaviours.
Ensure alignment between values and behaviour that fosters diversity and inclusion.
Connect work to BMO’s purpose, set inspirational goals, define clear outcomes, and maintain accountability.

Salary $122,400.00 – $228,000.00 (Salaried)
