What You'll Do
Perform hardware and firmware integration of stationary energy storage systems and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology
Develop and execute test plans to validate functions, features, and system performance
Lead and own system level firmware validation, firmware regression, and firmware releases
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure functional, performance, safety, and compliance requirements are successfully achieved
Drive continuous improvement in design and performance by providing direct and accurate feedback to design owners
Develop and maintain interface control documentation
Conduct failure analysis to understand root cause and drive resolution for hardware and firmware failures originating in testing and from the field
Develop and maintain automated firmware tests in Python
Hands-on with system bring up and prototyping
What You'll Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in hardware and firmware integration and validation
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
Experience with Python, C, C++, Go, or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a complex product
Proficiency with basic EE tools (scopes, power analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads, CAN tools)
Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, able to identify and surface issues within complex hardware/software systems
Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail
Preferred: Experience with automatic transfer switches (ATS) or micro-grid interconnect devices (MID)
Preferred: Circuit design experience (Altium, circuit analysis, component selection, etc.)

Expected Compensation
$133,440 - $292,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
