Project Coordinator – CREO Industrial Arts
CREO Industrial Arts is a custom fabricator with over 40 years of experience delivering high‑end architectural products to world‑renowned architects, graphic designers, landscape architects, and exhibit designers. The company produces premium fit‑and‑finish products for a wide variety of venues.
Responsibilities
Develop project schedules using kickoff documents and establish a critical path.
Manage and maintain project budgets, including schedule of values, estimates at completion, and monthly billing projections.
Communicate project schedule and status updates to clients as necessary.
Meet with Technical Design to review scope and schedule for design document development.
Research fabrication options, subcontractors, and create sample, mock‑up, and prototype submittals.
Conduct site surveys and collect first verification data.
Prepare RFIs and incorporate responses into final shop drawings.
Create submittal transmittals for samples, patterns, and drawings.
Prepare permit documents, submit for permits, coordinate inspections, and archive signed documents.
Coordinate subcontractor services and manage the change‑order process.
Schedule hand‑offs with the Production team to review scope and schedule.
Monitor production progress.
Perform QA/QC inspections for production work at 60% completion and prior to shipping (minimum). Include work subcontracted and received back.
Coordinate shipping of final product.
Coordinate and manage on‑site installation.
Manage punch list to completion, including field verification if needed.
Maintain detailed records of all drawings, client communications, contract documents, permits, and other project documentation.
Prepare project summary at conclusion of project.
Coach and mentor less experienced PMs and Project Engineers.
Qualifications
Project management experience in construction or signage industry.
Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, and Smartsheet.
Willing to travel on short‑term installations when necessary.
Desirable Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Able to read construction drawings.
Familiarity with metal fabrication, electrical signage, architectural drawings and site plans, graphics & typography processes, and construction materials & processes.

Base Salary: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour
