The Manager/Senior Manager FP&A will be supporting Financial Planning and Analysis for Merz Therapeutics in the United States. They will provide expert financial analytics, guidance and strategic support for the leadership team. They are accountable to be fully knowledgeable of the full Functional Costs and P&L for the region. This role will also be responsible for the management of the monthly accrual process, reporting and analysis of business results, variance reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budget and ad hoc analysis.

Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide investment decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and improvement programs. Deliver impactful reporting and presentations that influence leadership decisions. Ensure compliance and governance while supporting vendor and AP processes. 4-year degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent. Master’s degree or better. Professional experience
Minimum 5-8 years finance and/or accounting experience. Experience in finance/accounting in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare industry. Public accounting experience with regional or national public accounting firm. Knowledge, skills and abilities (incl. languages)
In-depth understanding of IFRS and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and a good understanding of preparing financial statements. Proficient in ERP. Knowledge of Windows environment and Microsoft Office products (Advanced Excel skills and Power Point). Don’t meet every single requirement?
