Key Responsibilities
Provide tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and estates.
Serve as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
Oversee tax return preparation, including complex estate (Form 706), gift (Form 709), and fiduciary (Form 1041) returns.
Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring efficient delegation, supervision, and timely completion.
Conduct technical tax reviews and approve all tax returns.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing client relationships and external networks.
Respond to federal and state tax notices and represent clients in audits.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
Communicate complex tax matters clearly to clients and non-tax professionals.
Stay updated on evolving tax laws and best practices to enhance client service and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax.
CPA, EA, preferred.
8+ years of tax experience in public accounting with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.
Strong expertise in estate, gift, and fiduciary taxation.
Proven ability to research tax issues and develop strategic tax planning solutions.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple high-level projects efficiently.
Experienced in public accounting management and client service excellence.
