Summary Piper restaurant at The Seabird Resort offers fresh, handmade pastas and garden-to-table delicacies. The restaurant opens in the morning for breakfast and fresh pressed juice, and transforms into a warmly intimate space in the evening with an open kitchen, full bar, and wraparound outdoor patio.
Responsibilities
Lead coaching and direction for restaurant staff.
Develop and assume basic leadership responsibilities, including training, scheduling, payroll, and interviewing.
Serve as liaison between culinary and restaurant operations, demonstrating fundamental food and beverage knowledge.
Maintain product quality and service standards, supporting outlet performance.
Step into any position in the outlet if coverage is needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in high-volume restaurants.
2+ years of experience supervising others preferred.
True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Opening and closing shifts availability.
Ensuring adequate coverage during shifts.
Assisting with servicing, seating, and communicating with the Service/Culinary.
Inspecting cleanliness and reporting maintenance requests.
Refined verbal communication skills.
Full availability each week, including weekends, holidays, and overnights.
Commitment to follow food safety protocols.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Flexible schedule required.
