Day in the Life of an Associate Attorney As a civil litigation associate, you will manage your own caseload from inception to resolution. Your responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests; preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials; keeping clients informed; conducting in-depth legal research; and working alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
What Matters Most Desired qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
2 to 10 years of experience handling Automobile and Premises Liability cases, preferably defense.
Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, performing legal research, and responding to discovery.
Self‑starter with strong advocacy skills.
Experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions.
Salary $110,000 – $170,000 per year.
