Opportunity
Seeking a highly qualified transactional midlevel associate with 3 – 5 years of law firm experience to join our Tax practice in the Silicon Valley office on a full‑time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Represent public and private companies, private funds, portfolio companies, and alternative investment vehicles in the tax aspects of fund formations, limited partner investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other similar transactional tax matters.
Draft, negotiate, and manage transactional tax documents and agreements.
Communicate and analyze tax issues in a business‑oriented context.
Qualifications
3 – 5 years of law firm experience in transactional tax matters.
Active California Bar membership.
Strong deal management, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work independently.
Ability to understand how particular agreements fit within a larger landscape of agreements and goals.
Benefits Salary range $260,000 to $365,000 with additional medical, financial, and other benefits. At‑will employment. Morgan Lewis accepts search firm submissions for this position.
