Role Summary

As a Senior Integration & Test Engineer, you will verify the quality and stability of embedded firmware and lower-level BSP features. You will focus on the integration and testing of Automotive embedded sub-systems, moving test activities from manual efforts to comprehensive automation and specializing in advanced testing methods, particularly in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments. Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and manage detailed daily test plans, covering functional verification, bug fixes, regression testing, and system integration validation. Lead Integration & verification of Android, Linux, QNX, and subsystem modules. Develop test strategies to effectively test subsystem modules on bench and vehicle. Perform hands‑on ad‑hoc testing of vehicle‑level features. Maintain and execute automation test scripts for platform features. Provide support for failure and root cause analysis for test and development teams. Develop configuration, measurement, and testing scripts using Python within the context of a test automation framework. Manage traceability of test coverage from requirements to validation. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure a feedback loop and bridge the gap between software development and vehicle integration. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on experience integrating and testing Automotive embedded sub‑systems or similar consumer electronics devices is preferred. Technical Skills

Proficiency with Python scripting, including testing frameworks such as pytest. Solid understanding and experience with RTOS and POSIX‐based embedded systems (Linux, Android, QNX). Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) software development models. Fluency with debugging communications issues involving Ethernet and CAN using industry‑standard. Experience with Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) and Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing is highly preferred.

Soft Skills: Team player with excellent communication skills and a passion to take software from development to a verified product. Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California‑Based Applicants: $147,000 - $183,000 USD. Benefits
