How You Will Make an Impact The
FP&A Manager III
will be a key member of the Varsity Spirit FP&A team, partnering closely with the Controllership, VS business unit leadership, and Corporate FP&A. The FP&A Manager will lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and performance insights, while preparing high‑impact financial presentations for senior leadership.
What You Will Do
Lead delivery of financial reporting and analytics, transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance.
Develop automated dashboards and data visualizations to enhance decision‑making across leadership teams.
Collaborate with functional areas across the business to continuously improve standardized processes and ensure timely execution of internal and external reporting deliverables.
Build integrated, driver‑based financial planning models, including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Develop revenue and expense budgets and projections, including but not limited to, functional teams, overhead expenditures, and new initiatives.
Manage financial statement consolidation, upload, and reconciliation process in Anaplan, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Access and manipulate data from multiple business computer applications into meaningful analysis.
Analyze business performance trends and prepare concise reports and recommendations for improvement initiatives.
li>Measure and track the impact of strategic and operational changes. Prepare concise and accurate presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Support special projects and ad‑hoc analysis to drive Varsity Spirit’s continuous improvement efforts.
Mentor and develop analyst(s), leveraging leadership skills to build team capability.
Qualifications
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet critical deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting concepts, and business drivers.
Ability to analyze situations and quickly formulate appropriate solutions.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI strongly preferred.
Experience with SAP systems preferred, Anaplan a plus.
Skilled in leveraging large data sets to build scalable, automated reporting solutions, including dashboards and visualizations.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field.
7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including 5+ years producing analytics deliverables (data visualizations, dashboards, analytical presentations, etc.).
