SUMMARY This position is accountable for providing exemplary customer service through effective communication, supply chain optimization, and prompt issue resolution at all levels from procurement to delivery to the customer. This position plays a crucial role in maximizing customer satisfaction while minimizing cost and delivery delays.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communication & Coordination
Establish strong relationships with customers and suppliers to understand and service all our third‑party relationships by consistent communication and follow‑up
Provide operational support and service to our internal sales team through proactive order management.
Collaborate with various internal departments to help evaluate the following components of an export transaction:
Evaluate risk management and seek internal approvals when applicable
Evaluate credit lines and track customer receivables
Review and approve vendor and supplier invoices :li>Understand and monitor export documentation timelines
Monitor IFPs logistics position to ensure export efficiency and resource allocation
Supply Chain Optimization
Determine profitability of orders by budgeting all associated expenses and reviewing with our internal sales team
Using our in‑house trade software, convert customer orders into formatted purchase and sales orders to send to applicable third‑party business partners
Monitor production dates and develop shipment plans to meet delivery dates
Monitor and coordinate inventory held across various global locations to ensure minimal aging & exposure
Globally track and trace shipments using third‑party container tracking tools
Issue Resolution
Address customer and supplier inquiries, proactively resolve issues during order fulfillment and shipment, and elevate complex matters to management as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONISBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required
2‑4 years of global operations or logistics skills preferred
Fluency in Spanish is required
Able to manage inventory, orders, and logistics to ensure accuracy
Ability to multi‑task, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑motivated individual capable of learning quickly and working independently
Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi‑task and responsiveness
