Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Ann Arbor. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need. This includes conducting assessments, developing care plans, providing counseling and advocacy, and connecting clients to resources and services in the community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop care plans
Provide counseling and support to individuals and families
Advocate for clients and help them navigate social service systems
Connect clients to resources and services in the community Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and case managers
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work
Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
Experience working in a social work or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the community
