This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee owns the license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. All employment matters—hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling—are handled by the franchisee. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant.
Description As a Department Manager, you lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Some managers also lead specific departments—Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management—setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.
The Guest Service Department Manager ensures crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, sales promotions are executed, all service staff are trained, and front counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for best service.
The Kitchen Department Manager ensures great quality food, fast service, food safety, controlled food cost, and that kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new menu items.
The People Department Manager ensures the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them, schedules to meet sales and profit goals, provides start‑up support, and recognizes and motivates staff.
Requirements
Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
Must be 18 years or older.
Positive team player with flexible schedule and passion for fast‑paced environment.
