Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers obtain a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, where responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.
Guest Service Department Manager: ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed properly, all service staff are trained in service procedures, and the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
Kitchen Department Manager: guarantee the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures for existing and new menu items.
People Department Manager: hire qualified crew, train them effectively, and schedule them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. Also ensure crew start their career well, receive recognition, and stay motivated throughout their tenure.
Qualifications Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy working in the famously fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
