Position Overview The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a neurovascular/stroke faculty to join the Department of Neurology. The candidate will be a fellowship‑trained neurovascular/stroke neurologist eligible for board certifications. The Ohio State University Comprehensive Stroke Center is nationally and locally recognized for excellence in stroke care and serves as a major referral center within central Ohio. Department Overview The Department of Neurology at OSUWMC has 15 specialized divisions and 63 physicians, providing extensive inpatient and outpatient neurovascular services, including a large telestroke network covering 32 hospitals and a 30‑bed stroke ward.

Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluation and treatment of patients with neurovascular disorders.

Staff the neurovascular primary and consultation services.

Staff the telestroke network and telestroke follow‑up service.

Provide care in outpatient neurovascular clinics.

Supervise trainees (medical students, residents, fellows) in neurovascular assessment.

Develop partnerships with referring physicians and hospitals.

Engage in clinical teaching, research, and scholarly activity.

Requirements

MD or equivalent.

Completed ≥¹ year of neurovascular fellowship by time of appointment.

Board certified or eligible in neurology (ABPN) within two years of completing neurology training.

Board eligible in neurovascular (ABPN) by completion of fellowship.

Unrestricted medical license in Ohio or ability to obtain prior to appointment.

Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary academic environment.

Excellent clinical teaching, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
