Position Overview Academic Tutor – Part‑time (no more than 19.5 hours per week) supporting students in a self‑contained setting at Sage Park Middle School, Windsor, CT.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized goals and objectives in accordance with IEP and the Special Education Case Manager of the SPARK Program.

Provide instructional support and academic tutoring to assigned students.

Progress‑monitor student performance and assist with classroom and district‑wide assessments.

Communicate student progress to classroom teacher and special education case manager.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Pupil and Special Education Services and/or building principal.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Experience working with students in a self‑contained school setting is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to connect with and provide academic support for such students.

Successful completion of college‑level coursework or passing of required examinations under the No Child Left Behind Act.

Schedule Hours may vary depending on student/program needs but shall never exceed 19.5 hours per week.

Compensation Windsor, CT: $35,500.00 – $40,000.00 per year.

Location Sage Park Middle School, Windsor, CT.
