Project Manager (Maintenance & Waste Facilities) – 9 Month Contract (Illinois, US)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major global pharmaceutical client on their latest new‑build project in Illinois—a large‑scale greenfield capital project with an investment of over $1 bn.
What You'll Do
Support the Program Director in leading delivery of the overall project, working closely with Project Technical Leads, Area Leads, and subject matter experts.
Provide leadership and be accountable for delivering the project according to approved scope, schedule, and cost plans.
Interface with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure the project meets business needs.
Lead the site safety program.
Provide project communications for your specific scope of work.
Ensure project is delivered in compliance with overall program expectations.
Plan, monitor, and control project activities for the area(s) involved, and report progress against plan.
What You'll Need
Previous experience delivering large capital projects in the Life Sciences industry.
Proficiency with project management tools (P6/MS Project, metrics, risk management) and MS Office.
Strong teamwork and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the traditional PM role.
Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks within a short timeframe.
Proven knowledge of GMPs, regulatory requirements, and CQV practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
