Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program at St. Joseph’s Health - Starting Fall 2026.
Start your nursing career with confidence through 12 month-long Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program, designed to support newly NY State Licensed RN's as they transition into clinical practice.
Start: July 6th, 2026, August 3rd, 2026 or September 14th, 2026.
Open House: 5/5/2026 2:30pm -4:30pm @ St. Joseph's Hosptial
Application period: 5/4/2026-5/18/2026
Interviews: 6/8/2026-6/12/2026
As an RN Resident, you’ll receive:

Eligibility:
All newly NY State Licensed RN Residents with less than one year of experience are automatically enrolled. Cohorts start 8 times per year.

Supervision: Team Leader, Clinical Coordinator, Unit Manager, Clinical Services/Nursing Admin Pay Range: $38.75–$39.75/hr. (based on experience, education, and skills) Sign On Bonus: Currently offering up to $8,000 in recruitment bonuses for full time, qualified, energetic RN Residents who are passionate about nursing. RN Licensed in the State of New York and posted on Office of Professions.
Maintains current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
