The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, reviewing and compiling management reports, ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions, and performing guest service agent duties as required. Benefits

Work with financial information and data, performing basic arithmetic functions. Cross‑train in other accounting or hotel-related areas. Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines. Perform guest services functions as required (check‑in, check‑out, reservations, switchboard operation, etc.). Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports. Prepare and distribute daily reports (e.g., Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, Tax Reports). Prepare and distribute month‑end reports. Audit and reconcile all Front Desk and Food & Beverage cashier work. Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards promptly. Ensure accuracy in all reported numbers, including statistics. Input and update financial information into the corporate communications network. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required. Keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or policy deviations. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt. Handle guest requests. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field. Guest service experience preferred. Computer knowledge and skills required. Flexible and able to work long or irregular hours, including late/overnight shifts. Physical ability to exert up to 10 pounds occasionally. Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor and effective communication skills at all levels. Strong listening, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities. Attend required meetings and trainings. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance, grooming, uniform, and nametag. Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations. Maximize productivity, identify problems, and help implement solutions. Maintain confidentiality of information.
