A leading high-performance automated packaging company is hiring a Field Service Technician who will play a key role in installing, commissioning, and training customers on flexographic packaging equipment across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This is a travel-forward role for a technically strong, customer-facing professional who can uncrate, set up, test, and optimize equipment before installing it onsite. Field Service Technician Responsibilities
Take new equipment from crate to “live on the floor”
Lead customer training so operators know how to run, maintain, and troubleshoot confidently
Travel throughout the U.S, Canada and Mexico
Adjust, fine-tune, and optimize equipment so it performs at peak from day one
Spot opportunities for clients to automate further
Keep documentation tight, accurate, and professional
Show up polished, prepared, and able to lead inside a customer facility
Field Service Technician Requirements
4 - 6 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience
Strong electronics aptitude
Professional presence and confidence training customer personnel at all skill levels
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel overnight Monday–Friday
Able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical
Military background in electronics, communications, avionics, or mechanical systems a plus
Experience with flow wrappers, baggers, scales, or other packaging automation a plus
Familiarity with Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Allen-Bradley, or similar controls a plus
Comfortable teaching, troubleshooting, and leading hands-on learning in a plant setting a plus
