Amesbury is a tight-knit, hard-working, and growing community. Incorporated in 1668, the city’s history is an important part of what makes its community a special place to live, work, and play. The city’s leadership is committed to maintaining historic charm and open spaces, while also supporting smart development to help the community grow.
