Field Service Technician Elk Grove Village, IL Experience in the Packaging Equipment field, hands-on experience with Electro-Mechanical systems, pneumatics, AC/DC motor control, PLCs, and VFDs. Full Time Mid Level We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team. The Field Service Technician will be based out of our Elk Grove, IL office and is responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of their equipment. The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills, and excellent communication. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service. Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide remote and hands-on assistance with installations, training, repairs, warranty work, retrofits, safety improvements, and equipment transfers. Travel to customer sites as needed domestically and internationally. Support PMIKYOTO assembly, start-up, and FAT efforts at factory, gaining needed machine-specific expertise and training. Provide detailed call and service reports and suggest selling PM, additional spares, or new equipment to our existing customers. Grow and develop knowledge of PMIKYOTO equipment, support equipment, site safety requirements, electrical, mechanical, and programming expertise. Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of packaging/manufacturing industry. Service and capital equipment experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time and be well organized. Team player with personal accountability. Mechanical and electrical skills.
