Accounts Receivable Sr. Financial Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team, reporting to Manager – FP&A. This role is pivotal in driving accurate forecasting of collections, analyzing receivables performance, and supporting strategic decision‑making through robust reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Accounting to enhance cash flow forecasting, reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and optimize the entire revenue cycle.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Forecasting & Analysis (40%)
Develop and enhance the forecasting and cash collections tools to improve financial data analysis
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Generate variance analysis reports to be presented to the C‑suite level
Analyze accounts receivable aging buckets to identify delinquency patterns and root causes
Track and forecast Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), providing actionable insights to reduce aging
Credit Management, Billing, and Collections (40%)
Serve as a liaison with the Credit team to support informed, strategic business decisions
Generate and present reports that provide actionable insights to senior management
Participate in month‑end closing processes and reconciling accounts, when required
Ensure compliance with external customer requirements (e.g., Early pay discounts)
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure financial goals are met
Cross‑Functional Partnerships (20%)
Work directly with FP&A to provide collections forecasts and reports
Partner with Revenue Operations to resolve data issues and provide key insights to help the team
Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate Accounts Receivable reconciliation and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
2‑4 years of experience in Working Capital Forecasting, Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit or Public Accounting
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
Comfortable taking initiative to solve problems independently
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
