Ideally this leader would have deep experience in value based care/population health; other ideal backgrounds would be experience with ACO's, medicare/CMS value programs, value based contracting.

This Director will be primarily responsible for leading efforts in the execution of value based care strategies, driving operational excellence in quality results, clinical outcomes and reducing total cost of care for BJC Medical Group.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Director will be primarily responsible for leading efforts in the execution of value based care strategies, driving operational excellence in quality results, clinical outcomes and reducing total cost of care for BJC Medical Group.

Responsibilities

Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.

Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.

Performs new business activities that achieve assigned strategic objectives as it relates to physician growth, increased utilization in service lines, strengthens community awareness, and further develops employer activities.

Manages and provides consultation and support to improvement teams and departments related to transformation and performance improvement initiatives.

Plans, develops, and directs operations of case management and social work and integrates services with other departments.

Monitors clinical outcomes and processes of care. Provides current data and information and develops appropriate reports and documents in a timely manner.

Supports and coordinates a performance improvement process to promote exceptional clinical outcomes while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Bachelor's Degree
