Position Overview Founder and Clinical Director at CLARA Healing Institute

Child and Adolescent Therapist

develops practice as a youth + family.

Key Responsibilities

Build and retain a caseload of 15-20 clients per week focusing practice on children, adolescents, and families.

Clinical work includes client communication, case coordination, documentation, billing, and administrative tasks as needed.

Develop and implement groups, workshops, skill‑shares, trainings, continuing education, and eCourses quarterly for our Wisdom Collective and Community Circle branches.

Monthly team consultation, didactic trainings, professional development, and marketing opportunities; quarterly team retreats.

Represent CLARA as a brand ambassador at professional, networking, and school events; initiate stakeholder meetings with pediatric medical and behavioral health groups, holistic providers, youth programs, and school personnel.

Collaborate with community partners to provide services or programming within the community on a contract basis.

Manage social media content and support practice development, signature programs, and practice culture.

Qualifications

A fully licensed mental health clinician with at least 2 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children (age 4 and older), adolescents, and/or families.

Well‑versed and trained in childhood and adolescent anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, depression, trauma, attachment, OCD, disordered eating, family concerns, self esteem, school refusal, etc.

Trauma‑informed, culturally sensitive, responsive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Able and motivated to offer an integrated therapeutic approach including nonverbal therapies, cognitive therapies, psychoeducation, parent involvement, and school engagement when indicated.

Preferred theoretical orientations and modalities: Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal‑informed therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT, ACT, DBT, family and couples therapy, etc.

Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Position Structure & Hours Contracted 1099 position; may transition to W‑2 after successful review. No insurance benefit. Must have personal laptop/tablet and phone and access to Wi‑Fi, computer, printer, fax at CLARA office.

Office availability: Mondays 9am‑8pm, Tuesdays 3pm‑8pm, Fridays 9am‑8pm, Saturdays and Sundays optional (highly encouraged).
