Provide strategic and operational support to riser projects and programs, ensuring accurate and timely cost reimbursement through intercompany billing.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational support to riser projects and programs, ensuring accurate and timely cost reimbursement through intercompany billing.

Lead and manage departmental staff, including hiring, training, development, and performance evaluations. Set clear goals and performance objectives.

Continuously evaluate and improve departmental processes to ensure optimal use of resources, tools, and equipment.

Oversee riser services activities, including change engineering, design submittals/appraisals, document control, service manual preparation, and technical literature management.

Identify customer needs and proactively address concerns to maintain NOV’s competitive edge.

Drive regional technical consistency and develop processes to enhance execution efficiency.

Ensure full compliance with all NOV Company policies and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Facility/Group-Specific Responsibilities

Promote and enforce NOV’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) culture across all activities

Lead global coordination meetings with programs, service teams, and repair centers to align current and future riser business initiatives

Develop and implement business strategies to grow NOV’s aftermarket riser (AM) business amid competitive pressure

Monitor and ensure the performance of NOV riser repair facilities, meeting required production, quality, and commercial goals

Establish and support remote riser repair capabilities in underserved regions

Serve as a global technical subject matter expert for riser systems

Support global service and repair teams in developing and executing technical training programs

Act as the liaison between product engineering and aftermarket services to ensure cohesive operations and communication

Education & Experience Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience with riser and related drilling equipment

Proven experience in team leadership and management of remote operations

Strong knowledge of Oil and Gas industry regulations

Familiarity with ABS and DNV regulatory standards
