EMC / EMI Test Engineer : Perform evaluation of products to EMI / EMC / RF / Safety worldwide regulatory requirements. You will test products in accordance with FCC, ISED, and EU requirements using germane test methods dictated by common test standards. You might assume additional tasks when they arise. Responsibilities

Perform EMI/EMC testing on Ubiquiti’s extensive product line. Generate EMC test plans and test reports. Review, analyze, and interpret EMC test results; communicate accordingly to cross-functional teams. Collaborate with EMC troubleshooting efforts. Perform product change assessment for EMC and identify applicable EMC tests to satisfy EMC specifications and homologation/regulatory requirements. Develop and validate EMC test setups for emissions and immunity per test methods such as CFR 47 Part 15.247/15.407/15.255, ISED RSS-247, ETSI EN 300 328, ETSI EN 301 893, ETSI EN 302 502, ETSI EN 303 722, ETSI EN 303 687, CISPR32, IEC 61000-4-2, -3, -4, -6. Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor’s in engineering with 2 years of experience in EMC testing, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability. Experience performing EMC testing, with a preference for Wireless / WiFi Communications. Experience with EMC test automation software such as EMC32, BAT-EMC, Keysight IOT is a plus. Working knowledge of instruments required for EMC testing including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, antennas, coupling clamps, field probes, ESD simulators, etc. Experience in generating detailed EMC test reports. Understanding of ISO-17025 laboratory accreditation process and maintenance is a plus. Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory applied to EMC testing. Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics. Hands-on experience in debugging radiated and conducted emissions and immunity issues. Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, USB for product instrumentation and communication monitoring for EMC testing is a plus. Self-starter, results-oriented, with the ability to multi-task. Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to meet aggressive delivery targets. Must be self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment. Benefits
