We are looking for a forward-thinking Enterprise Architect (EA) with a strong focus on the technology domain to strengthen our IT Strategy department.
As part of our strategic IT transformation, you will play a key role in shaping and guiding our technology landscape, with a particular focus on cloud implementation (Azure), infrastructure modernization, and digital enablement. You will act as a trusted advisor to technology and business stakeholders, ensuring our IT capabilities align with business goals, architectural standards, and future strategies.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
Define and develop the technology architecture vision, aligned with business strategy and future business capabilities
Lead and manage the architecture of the technology domain in areas such as infrastructure, platforms, cloud services, DevOps, and integration layers
Contribute to and help steer the cloud migration strategy, including governance, landing zones, platform services, and security patterns in Microsoft Azure
Support the IT transformation program, ensuring architectural integrity and coherence across multiple initiatives
Provide expert architectural guidance on large-scale projects, helping teams design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions using on-premise and Azure services
Collaborate with solution architects, business architects, security architects, and delivery teams to ensure consistency across programs and projects
Lead technology selection processes, evaluate emerging technologies, and assess their fit within the future architecture
Maintain and improve architecture documentation, roadmaps, and technology standards within LeanIX
Actively participate in architecture boards and change governance processes
Mentor other architects and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning, especially in hybrid cloud technologies
Technical profile requirements
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, governance)
Experience with IT transformation programs, especially legacy system modernization and cloud enablement
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPMN) and tools (e.g., LeanIX)
Understanding of modern IT delivery models (e.g., SAFe, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, FinOps)
Non-Technical profile requirements
Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven leadership in influencing and driving change within an organization
Strategic and analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems
Methodology/Certification requirements
Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF)
Language proficiencies
Fluent in both Dutch & French
Fluent in English
Location
Currently minimum 2days/week onsite presence is required
