Overview

Warehouse Supervisor – 2nd Shift at Quanta Manufacturing Nashville. Responsible for all warehouse activities, providing direction and leadership to warehouse personnel. Manages receiving, inventory control, picking, kitting, and shipping processes while ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Control physical inventory and execute inventory transactions in SAP.
• Document goods received, noting shortages, damage, and exceptions.
• Verify that signed purchase orders are available for all received products.
• Maintain accurate picking and kitting orders.
• Schedule the receiving and delivery of raw materials and finished products in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate and timely departmental reports.
• Direct warehouse personnel regarding expected shipments and related tasks.
• Examine incoming materials or equipment to verify against invoices or bills of lading, following established procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards, ensuring all raw materials and finished goods are stored and protected.
• Improve plant audit performance and work environment.
• Instruct and train all warehouse personnel in proper procedures and regulations.
• Train and motivate front‑line employees through effective communication.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3–5 years of lead experience in a warehouse setting.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Additional Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lead, guide, and direct team members.
• Excellent skills in warehouse management, ERP, and inventory control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Knowledge of electronics is preferred.
