Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and guidance to the IT Applications Development team.

Define key priorities aligned with the Software Engineering practice vision.

Champion best practices in application design, development, and integration throughout the lifecycle.

Lead personnel actions: hiring, performance management, termination.

Improve software life‑cycle time by enhancing requirement quality and reducing design and development waste.

Manage geographically distributed staff and support multiple projects.

Collaborate with delivery managers and product managers on product delivery and enhancements.

Drive engineering recruiting and talent retention.

Communicate complex project updates to stakeholders, including executives.

Maintain transparent documentation and client engagement, ensuring quality and stakeholder trust.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

7+ years of professional experience.

Preferred: 1‑3 years of project management planning, cross‑functional team management, M&O experience, Medicaid technical experience, and process improvement.
