Overview
Phlebotomist/Clinical Laboratory Associate under the general direction of the Client Service Manager and the Director of Laboratory Services, collects blood specimens for analysis and performs routine processing for all specimens submitted for clinical analysis, including registration, accessioning, and receipt requisitions into the Laboratory Computer System. Responsibilities
Collect blood specimens for analysis. Process specimens for clinical analysis, including registration, accessioning, and entering requisitions into the Laboratory Computer System. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate preferred. Experience
Minimum 1 year of Phlebotomy experience preferred. Previous Laboratory and Computer Experience preferred. Licensure and/or Certification
Phlebotomy Certification preferred. Skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Effective phlebotomy skills and ability to switch priorities; willingness to travel to other locations for assignments. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Computer skills; ability to read, write, and communicate in English; ability to maintain confidential information. Job Details
