Pay Range: $19.57 - $23.00 per hour
Under the general direction of the Client Service Manager and the Director of Laboratory Services, the Phlebotomist/Clinical Lab Associate collects blood specimens for analysis performs routine processing for all specimens submitted for clinical analysis, including registration, accessioning, receipt requisitions into the Laboratory Computer System.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate preferred.
Minimum 1 year of Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Previous laboratory and computer experience preferred.
Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
Skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Effective phlebotomy skills.
Must be able to switch priorities and respond to changing needs of the department, including traveling to other locations for assignment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer skills.
Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
