health and safety receiverships , taking on some of California’s most challenging properties—such as unsafe buildings, hoarder homes, or stalled construction sites—and restoring them for the benefit of all stakeholders.

The Opportunity Due to a recent team departure, our client is seeking a California-licensed Attorney to join their collaborative, fast-growing legal team. In this role, you’ll appear in court on behalf of the Receiver, conduct legal research and writing, and manage a diverse caseload involving both property and business receiverships.
What You’ll Do
Represent the Receiver in court and advocate for resolutions rather than clients
Prepare motions, appeals, and legal briefs related to ongoing receivership matters
Manage 20–30 active cases involving health & safety and business receiverships
Collaborate with the operations team, contractors, city attorneys, and property stakeholders
Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations to the court
Maintain approximately
6 billable hours per day
(120–130 per month)
What You’ll Bring Must-Haves:
Active license to practice law in
California
A few years of
civil litigation
experience (comfortable appearing in court)
Strong
legal research and writing
skills
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with
California receivership law
Additional bar admission in
Arizona or Nevada
Background in
real estate, municipal law, bankruptcy, family law, or business litigation
