As an EY SAP Technology Pre‑Sales, you directly help EY & clients with efficient, optimised and precise pursuit proposals that leverage EY’s Technology assets and capabilities to transform and manage their business. Key Responsibilities

Client Interaction: Harvest requirements from the client and translate them into a solution that meets the agreed objectives and principles. Lead the technology aspect of the pursuit team, serving as a liaison among business partners, delivery leadership, and pursuit stakeholders. Pursuit Shaping: Provide guidance for solution & pursuit definition, presales thought leadership, and ascertain technical delivery possibilities & costs for critical business solution implementations using EY Technology products and tools. Technology Pre‑Sales Development: Work with Product Owners, Business Owners, Delivery Teams and GDS to envision, design, and develop pursuit designs and responses focused on EY’s SAP delivery and technology capabilities for enterprise, industry, platform and solutions. Essential Functions of the Job

Presales / Pursuit Architecture & Solutioning for mid to large scale pursuits. Thought leadership for the service line pursuit/business teams during deal development, pursuit & close phases. Deep understanding of SAP Technology and EY’s SAP drivers, products, tools & processes. Establish Presales standards and guidelines to increase success rate of client pursuits. Hands‑on creation of end‑to‑end solution architecture aligned with overall EA and IT roadmap of specific clients. Shape RFP responses and provide incisive insights from tech experience. Provide objective analysis and actionable recommendations in the form of underpinned solutions. Document Current As‑is Architecture, Transition Architecture and roadmap to Target Architecture. Address technology gaps during pursuit cycles and develop innovative mitigation plans. Translate emerging technology impact into business value. Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and drive efficiencies. Contribute to the development of the Presales community and mentor new architects. Maintain relationships with delivery teams and ensure implemented solutions follow approved designs. Interact with stakeholders on presales issues and strategic improvements. Coach business owners and pursuit leads on technology presales during the pursuit lifecycle. Ensure pursuit/deal architecture and roadmaps are documented using templates and standards. Identify, communicate, and resolve technology issues and risks. Collaborate with Technology Product Teams to influence product backlogs and priorities. Skills And Attributes For Success

Knowledge on industry solutions and products. Strong tech background with experience in deal development, architecture, strategy, or tech start‑ups. Experience with large scale multi‑technology, data, analytics deals. All‑round expertise in Applications, Infrastructure, Digital, Security. Technical/data/application/integration architecture experience. Responding to RFPs and shaping client proposals. Expertise in solution write‑ups and client presentations. Excellent communication skills in English, written & spoken. Business acumen and ability to develop strategic customer relationships. Risk identification and mitigation strategy development. Portfolio management awareness. Organized and methodical; ability to initiate and plan in uncertain environments. Rigorous attention to detail. Operate as an individual contributor, influencing without authority. Strong experience in offshore/onsite working models across geographies. Agile Delivery and DevOps experience or certifications desirable. TOGAF or IASA architectural training/certifications desirable. Knowledge of service management frameworks (ITIL V3/V4) advantageous. Regular international and domestic travel. BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 15+ years of technology, business development & thought leadership experience. What We Offer You

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary range for US locations: $138,200–$266,000 (or $165,800–$302,300 for NYC, Washington State, and California).
