Compassionate, detail‑oriented RN with strong assessment and care coordination skills
Effective communicator who builds trust and rapport with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Able to thrive in a fast‑paced procedural setting and manage multiple priorities
1 year of nursing experience preferred
High school diploma or GED required
Current Louisiana RN licensure required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire
CGRN Certification and SGNA membership encouraged/preferred

What You Will Do Job purpose or mission: To improve the quality of life of patients and families by coordinating patient care processes of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in collaboration with the patient, family, physician, and appropriate support services for the age population served, as defined in the department's scope of service.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinates patient assessment through collection of patient's health data.
Analyzes patient assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and identifies expected outcomes.
Coordinates an interdisciplinary plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
Implements the interventions identified in the plan of care.
Evaluates the patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Provides on‑going patient assessment and emotional support to the patient prior to the induction of endoscopy procedures and during the procedures.
Administers and monitors Procedural Sedation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
