Product Engineering Specialist
Delivering mission‑critical electronic solutions that protect lives, we at CAES by Honeywell engineer advanced systems for defense and aerospace markets. We are looking for a Product Engineering Specialist to develop, produce, and improve microwave communication hardware in our San Jose, CA facility. The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and preparing technical reports, providing a strong foundation for future design, product engineering, or program management positions.
Responsibilities
Work with production staff to perform and document testing of microwave hardware
Perform and document tuning and test results on multi‑function thin film microwave integrated circuits (MICs)
Work closely with manufacturing engineers, as part of a product team, providing feedback on modules and subsystem products
Perform set‑up and calibration of the automated test station
Qualifications Minimum:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
Preferred:
Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficient written and verbal skills.
Hourly Range Hourly Range: $34.00 – $38.00. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
