Director Of Preconstruction The Director of Preconstruction leads the project development team to ensure the overall success of Landmark's preconstruction efforts. This role reports directly to the Market Leader and is responsible for guiding a high performing team, building strong industry relationships, and driving strategic growth.

Position Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy

Lead and motivate the Preconstruction team, ensuring alignment across Sales, Estimating, Design, and Marketing.

Establish and maintain standardized processes that promote consistency, efficiency, and accuracy.

Review and approve proposals, estimates, contracts, and scope documents prior to Market Leader approval.

Hire, onboard, and develop team members to support growth.

Foster servant leadership principles, emphasizing ethics, trust, and accountability.

Business Development & Client Relations

Represent Landmark in the community through civic engagement, trade organizations, and industry events.

Build and maintain strong networks with industry leaders, clients, and community stakeholders.

Support the Business Development team in nurturing long-term client relationships that align with Landmark's values and capabilities.

Evaluate new project opportunities for fit and viability, ensuring proper allocation of resources.

Manage client expectations while consistently delivering Landmark's value proposition.

Team & Operational Excellence

Assign opportunities strategically to maximize success.

Provide guidance to ensure effective time management and balanced workloads across the team.

Promote cross-functional communication to resolve sensitive or complex issues tactfully.

Encourage innovation by exploring new technologies, trends, and ideas that enhance client solutions.

Maintain awareness of current market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
