Overview

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Nursing Program Coordinator who will oversee the Transfer Center. The Nursing Program Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the Transfer Center, monitoring staff performance and the coordination of patient transfers to and from ARMC, in compliance with EMTALA, regulatory guidelines, and hospital policy. The Nursing Program Coordinator will also act as a liaison between hospital services, external agencies, providers, and regulatory authorities to ensure safe, timely, and efficient patient transfers. Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage patient transfers to and from ARMC, ensuring compliance with EMTALA, hospital policy, and regulatory requirements. Oversee day-to-day operations of the Transfer Center, including staff workflow and performance monitoring. Monitor and evaluate transfer data, identify trends, and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Develop, implement, and maintain education and training programs for transfer center staff to ensure adherence to best practices. Details

License: Must possess and maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Certification: Must possess and maintain a Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital. Prior experience in a hospital Transfer Center, case management, or utilization review is highly desirable; ideal candidate will have experience in critical care settings. Benefits and Perks
