Geotechnical Assistant Staff Project Manager (Entry-Level)

Overview As an entry‑level assistant staff project manager, you will assist staff with field tasks supporting geotechnical projects, document site observations for construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical field work, and perform various field activities under limited supervision.
Responsibilities
Assist staff with field tasks supporting geotechnical projects
Document site observations for both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical field work
Assist with or perform tasks such as: perform boring and test pit layouts; prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances; conduct research on local geologic history; assist supervision of field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and address rig access issues; perform in‑situ testing; classify soils; keep project staff informed of changing site conditions and additional testing requested on project sites.
Qualifications
Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
No experience required.
Professional license not required for this position but required to progress in the career.
Valid driver’s license required if driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary.
