Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Ann Arbor, MI
A K-12 school in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Complete Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Conduct Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) assessments to determine student eligibility and needs
Perform thorough student evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
Attend and actively participate in educational and IEP meetings with staff, parents, and administrators
Provide direct speech therapy and support consistent with student goals and schedules
Qualifications
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, and school settings preferred
Familiarity with K-12 education systems and compliance requirements
Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
Schedule and Location
Position is based in Ann Arbor, MI
Full-time, 7 hours per day, 5 days per week during the school year (CSY)
Contract role with clear focus on delivering quality speech and language support within the K-12 environment
