As a Model-Based Systems Engineer, you will:
Responsibilities
Provide on-site MBSE support at major intelligence centers (Huntsville, Suitland, Dayton, Charlottesville).
Develop high-fidelity Systems Modeling Language (SysML) architecture models focused on foreign missile systems and Command & Control (C2) systems.
Design, develop, and maintain integrated DoDAF-compliant system architecture views and SysML artifacts.
Collaborate with government technical leads, product owners, and agency stakeholders on system modeling and requirements.
Produce high-quality technical and design documentation in support of system development and analysis.
Drive MBSE standardization, integration, and best practices across the joint environment.
Primary Qualifications
8+ years of systems engineering experience with a BS/BA; 6+ years of relevant experience with MS/MA, and 3+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D. (An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
TS/SCI clearance adjudicated and able to pass a polygraph.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools.
Experience developing SysML artifacts in support of real-world systems.
Familiarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment).
Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work across multiple agencies and locations in a coordinated technical team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting or working within the Intelligence Community (IC).
Familiarity with some of the following tools:
Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, Cameo Simulation Toolkit
RMSiS, MathWorks, CATIA, Simulink, STK
Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel
UAF/SysML, Enovia, NGTS, AFSIM
Demonstrated experience presenting technical updates to government customers and senior stakeholders.
