Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a CMM Programmer located in Indianapolis, IN. The CMM Programmer will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precision and accuracy in measurements. Day-to-day tasks include creating measurement programs, analyzing complex components, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications. The role also involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize quality control processes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in CMM programming and operation, including experience with software such as PC-DMIS or similar.
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Skills in conducting precision measurements and quality inspections of components and assemblies.
Experience in machining, manufacturing processes, or metalworking is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
