As a
Mortgage Specialist , you will be the primary frontline contact for servicing mortgage, business, and consumer loans. This role ensures accurate loan management, supports secondary market delivery, assists in portfolio monitoring, and provides advanced expertise on loan policies and investor requirements.
You’ll handle complex loan setups, modifications, payments, payoffs, and collateral protection insurance, while supporting staff and members with questions regarding their accounts. This position requires a high level of accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering outstanding service to members, team members, and external partners.
This is a fast‑paced role that combines technical knowledge with problem‑solving, requiring initiative, collaboration, and attention to detail. What You Will Need To Be Successful
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities with strong attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to analyze and resolve loan servicing issues while supporting both members and staff
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer‑service mindset
Three years of experience in the financial services industry required; three or more years in the mortgage industry preferred (with at least one year as a mortgage servicer or mortgage processor)
Experience working with secondary market or external investors preferred
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance (BSA/AML/OFAC) preferred
Comfort with public contact and customer service in a professional environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; mortgage software experience preferred
High school diploma or GED required

Compensation:
$24/hr + bonus
