Working Location:

Working Hours/Shift:
Per diem/on-call role with rotating split shifts across multiple time blocks. – Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM – Evening: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM – Overnight: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

What you bring to SBHG (Qualifications)
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology is required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
One year of medication administration experience is required.
One year of experience treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting is preferred.
A valid California LVN or LPT license, current CPR certification, and First Aid certification are all required.
How you will make a difference The LVN / LPT is responsible for providing direct client care, including medication administration and supervising the nursing activities of unit staff. Key duties include ordering, preparing, and documenting medications according to physician orders and confirming pharmacy deliveries. The role also requires communicating important information to the team, writing weekly client summaries as assigned, and maintaining accurate nursing documentation throughout the shift. This position also performs other related duties as needed.
Division/Program Overview The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term, 24/7 voluntary residential facility for adults ages 18-59. The program is designed to help residents who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to the community. Services include a wide range of support, from therapeutic and mental health services to rehabilitation, vocational counseling, medication support, and crisis intervention.
