Human Resources Manager at Willoughby Industries, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors or other managers within the department. This individual will track and research any accounting issues that arise. They will work closely with all internal business units to aid in their financial tracking.

Duties and Responsibilities

Filing and Record Keeping:

Scan, copy, and file paper and electronic documents. Maintain organized financial records.

Accounts Receivable Support:

Prepare, process, and track invoices and purchase orders. Verify customer deposits and reconcile statements.

Accounts Payable Support:

Match purchase orders with accounts payable bills. Reconcile vendor statements and outstanding checks.

General Ledger Reconciliations:

Reconcile internal records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of routine financial reports.

Administrative Support:

Perform various clerical duties to support the accounting department.

Other Duties:

Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements/Skills

Detail-Oriented:

Strong focus on accuracy and meticulous record keeping.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized files.

Accounting Software Proficiency:

Competent with accounting software and office applications. Proficient in operating office equipment like scanners and printers.

Communication Skills:

Professional verbal and written communication for interactions with teams, vendors, and clients.

Basic Knowledge of Accounting Principles:

Understanding of fundamental accounting practices and procedures, with adherence to standards and applicable laws.

Positive Attitude and Eagerness to Learn:

An upbeat and positive demeanor, with a willingness to ask questions and seek knowledge.

Education/Experience

2-3 years verifiable Accounting Clerk experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office

ERP Software experience a plus

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Will be asked to spend a minimal amount of time in the manufacturing plant

Manufacturing plant has high level of noise

Must submit to pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
