Description
As a Payroll Specialist at Qualis LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with company polices. Your responsibilities will include collecting payroll data, maintaining employee records, and collaborating with various departments to deliver timely and precise payroll services. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Essential Duties
Collect and verify payroll-related information to ensure accuracy
Collaborate with Human Resources regarding employee status changes, including new hires and terminations
Process payroll in compliance with company policies, ensuring all deductions and garnishments are handled correctly
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and educate staff on related policies
Coordinate labor distribution processing with each payroll cycle and manage timecard corrections as needed
Generate necessary reports for the Accounting Department.
Work closely with HR, Contracts, Program Control and Billings departments
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies
Other duties as assigned such as labor imports, SCA rates and labor data conversion
Requirements Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in the payroll field
Knowledge of HR Benefit and taxability is critical
Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task
Desired Requirements
Bachelors degree
Experience with ADP and Unanet
