Duties
Be part of a small team dedicated to a high quality outcome and experience for the patient, in a low volume setting.
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
Take digital radiographs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care.
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as necessary.
Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic health records systems (Dentrix).
Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Experience Proficiency in dental office software systems (Dentrix). Experience working with patients with disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with maintaining and organizing dental records.
Requirements
Valid state dental hygiene license.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
